I have seen way too many deer and moose car accidents and I gotta say, the car normally fairs as well as the animal, a wreck. But this story is pretty amazing. It’s hard to believe that this accident was not a car vs. deer, but a motorcycle. Moose and deer usually smash up the car, but, the bike riders were just fine and the bike came out of it in one piece.

These 2 motorcycle riders are so lucky! It’s hard to believe that they did not get hurt. This is really an amazing bike accident.

It was a beautiful morning in Southwest Colorado as we heading out of the canyon on highway 145 for highway 92 and the Dallas Divide. Nice ride out of the canyon from Telluride to highway 92 where we turned to head over the Dallas Divide. Made it over the divide and headed downhill to Ridgeway at a nice leisurely pace. Sorry to say, the above four vehicles never got to finish the race.

Now everyones knows about the “deer in headlights” thing and that deer are not known to be the smartest animals when it comes to avoiding a collision with a car… but, we have found the Albert Einstein of all deer.

This is one smart cookie here… yep. This deer wants to live and being run over by the motorcycle is just not the way he sees his own life ending.

Maybe I exagerated a bit when I called him such a smart deer, the deer does run across the highway filled with traffic… but jumping the moving vehicle is just some sick shit!

Now boys and girls, there is a lesson that our moms taught us when we were all kids, Always remember to look both ways while flying at 70 m.p.h.!…..Oh the road rash!!!….

This fool here, must have not remembered moms words because had he looked, he may have seen the trash cans, parked cars or whatever it was that he hit while riding his motorcycle. Its kinda hard to see what he hits… but he does fly through the air and that is not too tough to spot… so lets give him a thumbs up on a nice flight! the landing, well that coulsd have used some work… OUCH.
