Again, I can’t even explain how angry this makes me. There is a helicopter following already, so there is no reason to chase some reckless and stupid driver down the freeway.

This fool got so confused he went the wrong way on the freeway into oncoming traffic. In 2006,  about 300 people died yearly over police chases, last I heard, it is at 500 die to police chases.

There was a show on this week that talked about “police chase syndrome” where the adrenalin is so high and the cops get tunnel vision over the excitement of the chase that once the suspect stops, he gets killed anyway. It seems many suspects are killed after these chases and police blame it on this “syndrome” as to why they kill a suspect that is not armed.

At the end, the police hit the guy with the police car… WTF? Are they now judge, jury and executioner? It seems they felt he deserved a death sentence since he could have been easily killed by the car hitting him.

So what did this guy do that the police felt they needed to chase him down. It seems he was accused of theft.

ATLANTA — Alonzon Jones may have a lot to answer for. Jones, 29, Saturday found himself in the Fulton County Jail, facing a host of charges for his role in a wild police chase Friday afternoon.
